Punta del Diablo

Hola hippyland. One minute I{m in the Gold Coast of Uruguay, now I{m in the Byron Bay. After another accommodation mix up (yes, same chick that was the victim of the hissy fit has f&$%ed up spectactularly again - I think the lesson of Uruguay will be Patience) - I{ve found somewhere to check in and it{s not a tent, but a building version of one, in a way. It didn{t help that the whole town shuts down from 12 noon to 4pm (presumably to sleep off the drug induced psychosis of the previous evening). Yes, staying here for three days is going to be a whole lot of interesting. Great scenery - can{t remember how long the beach is but it goes forever. And it{s as hot as hell, which may be where it get{s it{s name - Devil{s point. And it{s a tiny village... bizarre actually, hard to explain. Home for the next three nights....
