Vang Vieng, Laos. Tiny village - midde of nowhere - which is cool. I'm staying in a bungalow ON the river..... thank God - the town is infested with vile English youth, very uppity and just commenced their gap year from public school, scantily clad and tattooed, and obnoxious (of course).
Order if you dare from the menu, however. I'm in the recreational drug capital of Indochina. And, "mushrooms" ain't mushrooms here..... and "happy pizza" does NOT mean extra pineapple. I'm going to need to find a savvy 18 year old backpacker to help me translate the menu, so I don't get caught out.....
Pics of Luang Prabang (which was divine) will follow... just need to survive the next couple of days....
